CHICKEN NAWABI

Ingredients:
Chicken – 1 kg, Onions – 350 gms.
Tomatoes – 350 gms.
Broken Cashew nuts – 75 gms
Ginger – 40 gms.
Green chillies – 30 gms. Garlic – 25 gms
Jeera – 5 gms., Cloves – 3 gms., Cinnamon – 3 gms
Cardamon – 3 gms
Curds -1 150 ml
Red Chuiii Powder – 25 gms
Dhania Powder (Coriander Powder) 20 gms
Coconut 1/2
Somp (fennal) – 5 gms
Butter – 100 gms. Ghee – 20 gms
Kasuri Menthi – a large pinch
Salt – 10 grns
Curry Leaves – 3 springs
Mustard 1/2 tsp
Coriander ieaves – a few springs

Method:

Marinate chicken with curd, red chilli powder, ginger, somp jeera and garlic. Add salt and keep aside for half an hour. Drain chicken and cook on skewer in a tandoor oven. Chop onions and tomatoes thin strips of ginger slit green chiilies. Heat butter saute onions tiii pale brown and tomatoes, ginger and garlic. chilules and  fry. Add cashew nuts paste and marinate left over and remaining chilli powder, Dhaniya powder fry weli. Add chicken fry well. Add coconut milk to chicken is tender. Add garam masala powder and remove from fire. Heat ghee add mustard seeds and then kasuri menthi and curry ieaves, add to chicken and mix well serve hot with chopped coriander leaves.
